Frequently Asked Questions
FAQ
I need a logo, and I already know exactly what I want it to look like. I need someone to make it. Will you help?
The foundation of our process is to provide a strategic approach to brand development. Without this crucial step, we cannot guarantee the project’s outcome will be at our standards and create the results we are known for. For this reason, we do not offer just logos.
Do you require payment upfront?
Yes, we require a minimum 50% deposit of the quoted investment upfront before any work can proceed and put you in our design queue.
How much is it to invest in your services?
Our package prices vary depending on the value provided within the service package. Each project is customizable to fit our client’s needs and their unique business.
Who owns the copyright to our project?
Broadbent Studio and Rachel Simms retail the intellectual copyright of all projects and provide usage rights to our clients, which is outlined in our contract. If you would like to obtain the copyright, we can discuss the options at the beginning of the project.
Do you work with local and international clients?
Yes! We can work with anyone around the world. All our appointments and consultation are scheduled using Toronto (EST) time.
What about branded collateral pricing (posters, swag, promotional material etc.)?
Our service packages have additional add-on bundles to accommodate the most common requests. The investment of these bundles varies to support customization for each of our clients. If there is something that you don’t see that you would like for your business, please contact us for a custom quote.
What is a "round of revision," and how many do I get?
A “round of revision” is when a client provides feedback on the stage of the project. This can include an email or verbal conversation. Clients can give feedback up to 2 times during the project unless other wise specified within the contract. Additional fees may apply if there are more than 2 rounds of revisions.
What if I don't like the design?
Our design process is a collaborative experience. We strive to understand what makes you and your business unique during the initial strategy workshop to ensure that we are on the same page before moving forward with the design.
But if you are unhappy with our services at any time during the process, don’t hesitate to get in touch with Rachel Simms, Founder, at rachel@broadbentstudio.com.

How it Works
We follow a method during all of our designs to ensure that our clients receive strategic, unique deliverables that produce results.
